Most of our members come from one of our five participating fire agencies. You may also be employed as a paramedic with American Medical Response, as an emergency room physician, structural engineer, or have a level two search dog registered with California Office of Emergency Services.

Why doesn't the team pick up civilians?
The team has civilian paramedics, physicians, structural engineers, and California OES search dog handlers, all other positions on the team are held by fire personnel because they are safety positions.
Who is the Task Force Leader?
The person in charge is Division Chief Dave Lesh, and Co-Task Force Leader is Capt Mike Koury.

When is the next Task Force training drill?
The task force has a training drill every three months we try to involve the whole team. If you would like to know the date, log in the team members site for the current colander.
How do I get my dog on the team?
The search dogs are certified by a Federal Emergency Management Agency governing body, when we are deployed the team is assigned the nearest four dogs that have a level two, or better certification.
